 About Carbs for Sale - Warranty Statement

These carburetors were built by me and come with a 30 day, no questions asked warranty. If you’re not satisfied with the product, you may return it in the same condition it was sent to you in.  That simple warranty does come with some stipulations.  

It’s a carburetor. It’s analog. It has no clue what its going on. IT MUST BE TUNED FOR YOUR APPLICATION. YOU MUST DO THIS - I CAN'T DO IT FOR YOU.  I also can't sell you a carb that works "right out of the box".  That's a nice myth and I debunked that with some common sense.  I have lots of YouTube videos on this and how to tune. You don’t need to be some high speed, 60 year old guy whos worked on carburetors their whole life. What you need to be able to do is identify the problem and the rest is just a process to correct it. That’s what my YouTube videos cover. 

You MUST have the right fuel system to support it. This is hands down the number one reason why people complain about their new, used or rebuilt carburetors. If the fuel system is not set up properly, I don’t care what you try to do to “tune” the carb, you will fail. I cover this topic extensively in the YouTube videos.  Fuel filters are the NUMBER ONE PART within the fuel system that causes the biggest amount of failures when not positioned correctly or not serviced periodically.  Not running a pressure regulator is the second more common failure point.  I would highly suggest BEFORE you buy anything from anyone, you spend some time watching my videos and determining if your set up will work. Don’t assume. Just because your neighbors second cousins husband ran an old AFB with a stock FOMOCO fuel pump, doesn’t mean you will be able. Cousin Eddie likely didn’t tune his either and it was a pig rich beast that never lived up to its full potential. Please don't be Cousin Eddie.  

I no longer sell on eBay. I’m sure this will hurt my sales in the short and long run, but the fees they charge forced me to overcharge for these rebuilt carbs. It wasn’t fair and not right but it was an evil to participate in the worlds largest searchable auction platform. I wish this wasn’t the case, but its at the point where I couldn’t justify the expense it was costing YOU and ME.

Read that again. Your satisfaction is NOT GUARANTEED. Why? I will work with you. I’ll bend over backwards and pull every bit of knowledge I have to help you find the right solution to any issue you’re having. But if you don’t take my advice or refuse to make corrections needed to get your set up to run to its best potential, then I can’t help you.  If you expect to bolt on a carb and NOT tune it, I can't help you.  I spend an awful lot of time showing exactly HOW to tune with my YouTube channel.  Free to you!  No charge!  My 40 years of experience all for your viewing pleasure.  If you refuse to do the work or don't have someone you can hire to do it for you, I just can't help.

I’m an open book. I’ve shared lots of videos on YouTube telling exactly how I clean, inspect, rebuild and tune these carburetors. There’s not much I do in my little one man shop that I haven’t shared in a video. I’ve laid it all out there because I want YOU to be able to make your own decisions and work your way through problems. My YouTube videos are free, and I’m going to guess that 99% of the problems you could have, were addressed in one of those videos. Take the time and watch them. Watch AND absorb the information that I’m giving you. I do it because I like it and I like watching fellow enthusiasts go out and have fun in whatever their dream is.

But if you refuse to take my damn near 40 years of working on carbs and 30+ years working on Edelbrock’s, then really what hope do you have to get it right? And at the end of the day, isn’t that what you want?
